Auto Lounge Racing enters two new Audis for Knutstorp
Team Auto Lounge Racing has unveiled its pair of brand new Audi RS 3 LMS II ahead of the STCC TCR Scandinavia races at Knutstorp this weekend.
The team was forced to postpone its two-car debut due to production delays from Audi Sport, with Christian Skaar driving a single first-generation Audi RS 3 LMS for the first two rounds.
“We have in a very short time built a completely new STCC team from scratch and now the last piece of the puzzle is here with our new Audis,” said Skaar.
“Thanks to incredible help from STCC, Brink Motorsport and Kevin Engman, we have had time for installation, calibration and testing during an intense period ahead of Knutstorp. The feeling is great!”
Skaar will be joined by team-mate Johan Lund this weekend who will make his STCC debut.
“Better late than never!” said Lund.
“The car feels awesome to drive and we’ve even had the opportunity to test different settings in varying weather conditions. The goal is to learn as much as possible and try to challenge for points when the opportunity is there.”
