Toyota Corolla TCR granted certification

The Toyota Corolla TCR model has completed its homologation procedure and has received official TCR certification.

The car is built by Toyota Gazoo Racing Argentina and is set for its racing debut during the TCR South America round at Termas de Rio Hondo on August 27-28.

The TCR technical department has assigned the Japanese model with a target racing weight of 1265kg, 100% power, no ballast and ground clearance of 80mm.

The technical department of TCR also announced a 10kg reduction of weight for the newly homologated Fiat Tipo TCR for a minimum racing weight of 1255kg.
