Dejan Dragicevic and Lights2Flag joins Ljungbyhed opener grid
Dejan Dragicevic will make his STCC TCR Scandinavia debut with team Lights2Flag in the Ljungbyhed season opener this weekend.
“I am very much humble ahead of my STCC debut that I’m at the same time looking forward to, this is no doubt the biggest challenge of my life,” said Dragicevic.
The 49-year-old has previously driven various national championships in Sweden, including the BMW Cup, and has bought Tobias Brink’s Audi RS 3 LMS of last year.
“This is a first ‘dip in the toe’ for us where we after the season opener will evaluate and see how we structure things for the rest of the season,” said Dragicevic.
“We have had a couple of good test days where we have received input from Brink Motorsport, they have been really helpful and the Audi is no doubt a lot more potent than anything I have driven before.
“I have no expectations in terms of results, this is all about learning.”
The team has so far confirmed the first race weekend only, with the ambition for potentially “a couple of more” races later this season.
Dragicevic’s entry brings the total for the Ljungbyhed opener to 16 cars.
