Andrea Adamo takes up TCR advisory role

Former Hyundai Motorsport Andrea Adamo chief Andrea Adamo is to take up a role of technical advisor with WSC Group.

Adamo will bring extensive motorsport experience to the role as he works alongside the WSC Technical Department on new technologies that can be introduced to both the various TCR series and to ETCR.

“We are pleased to welcome Andrea to our staff,” WSC president Marcello Lotti said. “We have unlimited confidence in his professionalism and competence that will be instrumental in reinforcing our already strong R&D platform.”

Adamo was also pleased to confirm the news.

“I’m thrilled to open a new chapter in my motorsport career,” he said. “I have a very good, long-standing relationship with Marcello, both professional and personal, and so I did not hesitate to join his team as soon as the opportunity arose.”
