Team Dynamics goes retro with 2022 livery
Team Dynamics has released images of the livery that it will use for the 2022 British Touring Car Championship season.
The Honda Civic Type Rs of Gordon Shedden and Dan Rowbottom – which will once again run with title sponsorship from Halfords and Cataclean – will run in colours similar to those seen on the BMW of team principal Matt Neal when he made his series debut back in 1992.
“I love the look of the new car, it harks back to my first full season in BTCC in the black and silver BMW M3, a car that to this day is one of my favourite cars of all time,” he said.
“We’ve got a strong package this year with Dan and Flash back at the helm, they gelled together really well last season and we are targeting titles this season with no shadow of a doubt.
“Hybrid testing has been going well and we feel we’ve got a good understanding of the technology; the big thing now is applying that in a race environment where I think a lot of strategy will be played out by all the teams!”
Both cars will be on track at Thruxton on Wednesday for the final official pre-season test prior to the opening rounds at Donington Park.
