Markussen Racing makes switch from Peugeot to Cupra

Markussen Racing has confirmed it will switch from Peugeot to Cupra for the 2022 TCR Denmark series season.

The team has purchased a new Cupra León Competición for last year’s runner-up Michael Markussen, replacing the Peugeot 308TCR that the team has run in the Danish series since 2020.

“It’s with a big thanks to our sponsors, family and everyone around us that we can proudly present our new weapon for the season,” said Markussen.

“I’m insanely looking forward to getting started and clocking the first kilometres in the new racer.”

Markussen claimed one win and a total of ten podiums last year, finishing 44 points behind champion Kasper Jensen.
