Gen3 Camaro takes on stealth look

The Gen3 Camaro ZL1 Supercar prototype will feature a new stealth look when it appears on track for the upcoming Supercars event in Tasmania.

The car, which appeared in public for the first time at Bathurst last year, will run in a new black livery for the latest round of on-track appearances that are planned for the Gen3 machines before they join the Supercars grid next year.

The new cars had been due to race for the first time this year before being put back.

“The new black livery design amps up the stealth factor another notch for the Camaro,” general manager of Chevrolet Racing Chris Payne said.

“Chevrolet Racing is the new heart for the fans who have followed and celebrated more than 50 years of Holden success in touring car racing.”
