Rodolfo Massaro announced for Elite Motorsport in DSG Audi

Rodolfo Massaro will drive an Audi RS 3 LMS for Elite Motorsport in the DSG class of TCR Italy this season.

The 36-year-old from Brescia already has experience with TCR machinery, having taken part in the TCR DSG Endurance Europe in 2021.

After a long career in karting, Massaro will be at the wheel of a touring car for only his second season.

“Compared to last year this is an important challenge and a huge change,” he said. “I will have a lot to learn, so my goal is to get mileage under my belt, have fun and grow in a championship. Obviously the level is very high, but if we can do this properly I’m confident we will also get good results.”

Massaro is the first driver announced by Elite Motorsport, who will run an Audi Sport customer programme this year.

“This will be an important season for us, the first within the Audi Sport family,” team principal Nicola Novaglio. “I’m glad to announce Rodolfo as our first of two TCR Italy DSG drivers we will have this year, he is a quick learner and a fast driver.”
