STCC newcomers Team Auto Lounge Racing enters two Audis

Newly formed Team Auto Lounge Racing has entered two new Audi RS 3 LMS race cars for the 2022 STCC TCR Scandinavia season with drivers Christian Skaar and Johan Lund.

“We’re really happy to step into the STCC with the new Audi model, one of the very best TCR cars currently,” said Skaar, driver and managing director of Auto Lounge.

“I’m still very new to racing, but I’ve been bitten hard by the sport. Especially after last year’s races where the results encouraged us to enter the STCC.”

The duo made their racing debut in the CAVA Andalucian Touring Car Championship last year, driving a former BTCC specification Volkswagen Golf.

“We are for sure humble ahead of the task of racing in the toughest Scandinavian championship and our main focus is on building experience for the coming seasons,” said Lund.

“We are going to face drivers and teams with a lot more experience than us, but we hope to be able to surprise and slowly but surely take steps forward in the results.”
