PWR Racing confirms 2022 entry with plans for expansion to three Cupras

Reigning STCC TCR Scandinavia champion team PWR Racing has confirmed it will be back for the 2022 season with “at least two cars”.

“We’re really happy to be able to confirm that we will be back in the 2022 STCC season to defend our titles after what was the best season ever for PWR Racing,” said Daniel Haglöf, managing director of PWR Racing.

The team ran two Cupra León Competición for Robert Dahlgren and Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky this year, with the duo finishing a superior 1-2 in the standings.

But the team is yet to confirm the line-up for next year.

“We’re currently evaluating the possibilities to run three cars next year, but more information about that and which drivers we will work together with will be issued in due course,” said Haglöf.

The team ran three cars in 2020 for Dahlgren, Åhlin-Kottulinsky and team co-owner Poker Wallenberg Jr. who switched to GT4 Scandinavia this year.
