Gilles Magnus receives grid penalty for Race 1

Comtoyou Racing driver Gilles Magnus has received a grid penalty for blocking Zengo Motorsport driver Jordi Gené during qualifying at Pau-Arnos.

The stewards judged video evidence to rule that Magnus had impeded Gené, handing the Belgian a three-place grid drop penalty for Race 1.

As Magnus crashed his Audi RS 3 LMS in Q1 before setting a lap time, he would start at the back of the grid any way.
