Felipe Fernández joins grid for Barcelona finale

Felipe Fernández will make his TCR Europe debut in the season finale this weekend in Barcelona with the RC2 Junior Team, which will contest a second successive meeting in the series.

Fernández – who made a one-off outing in TCR Italy this season – has been competing this season in the Campeonato de España Resistencia, where he sits third in the standings having shared a car with elder brother Rubén.

Fernández will be at the wheel of the Cupra Leon Competición that his elder brother drove to a best finish of twelfth at Monza, with the team’s second car once again driven by Sergio López.
