Five TCR cars entered for TCR Spain opener

Five TCR specification cars have been entered for the TCR Spain season opener at Circuito de Navarra this weekend.

TCR Spain was resurrected as a standalone series by the Spanish ASN (RFEDA) for 2021, having previously been run as a class within the Spanish Endurance Championship until 2016.

It will share grid with the Spanish Touring Car Championship (CET) this year, with a further nine CET specification cars entered.

The TCR entries include Mike and Michelle Halder of Halder Motorsport (Honda), Alba Cano of Monlau Competition (Cupra), Fernando Navarrete and Alejandro Cutillas of SMC Motorsport (Peugeot).
