TCR Denmark vice-champion Martin Andersen joins Team Engstler

Martin Andersen, the 2020 TCR Denmark vice-champion, has signed for Team Engstler to drive a Hyundai i30 N TCR in the 2021 TCR Germany championship season.

“It’s a massive opportunity for me and it fits so well with the TCR concept, that it open doors,” said Andersen.

“It has given me a lot and I am sure that TCR Denmark will open the door for many more during the coming years.”

Andersen drove a Hyundai in Denmark last year for Andersen Motorsport, finishing 45 points behind champion Kasper Jensen after scoring two wins and a total of seven podium finishes.

The Dane will however not leave Denmark completely as he will make a guest appearance in the race weekend at Jyllandsringen on August 20-22.
