PropCar Team confirms Fabio Casagrande in second Alfa Romeo

Fabio Casagrande has been confirmed to drive PropCar Team’s second Alfa Romeo Giulietta in the inaugural TCR South America championship season.

“I am thrilled to be involved in the maiden season of TCR South America with PropCar, the team that helped me to promote my racing career. I hope 2021 will be a good year for us,” said Casagrande.

Casagrande is going to drive full season unlike his team-mate Roy Block, who will drive the races in Brazil, Uruguay and Chile only.

A replacement for Block in the remaining races will be revealed at a later date.

“Alfa Romeo is very popular in South America and our team is really motivated to take part in the inaugural season of the TCR South America championship,” said PropCar team principal Darcio Dos Santos.
