Aarhus street race back in 2021 TCR Denmark calendar

The Classic Race Aarhus street race is going to be featured in the 2021 TCR Denmark series calendar after being postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic.

“We are very happy that we can include Classic Race Aarhus in our calendar, and I know that all our drivers are looking forward to driving on the street track in Aarhus,” said Martin Jensen, promoter of TCR Denmark.

“We have had a really good start for the TCR Denmark series with 16 cars in our debut season. The interest in the class is really great, so I think with the Classic Race Aarhus in September, it will be with an even bigger field for 2021.”

The race, held on September 17-19, is part of a preliminary six-race 2021 TCR Denmark calendar that will start at Jyllandsringen in May and end at Padborg Park in October.

The series will make three visits to Jyllandsringen, one to Ring Djursland and one to Padborg Park.

The organiser of the Copenhagen street race in August is yet to announce its plants for 2021, but TCR Denmark could be part of it as originally planned in 2020 before the pandemic.
