Jean-Karl Vernay stripped of MotorLand Aragón pole position
Jean-Karl Vernay has been stripped of his pole position for the third World Touring Car Cup race of the weekend at MotorLand Aragón.
The Team Mulsanne driver was found to have breached the track limits at the exit of Turn 5, meaning that his Q3 lap time has been cancelled.
The penalty drops him to fifth position and promotes Comtoyou Racing driver Gilles Magnus to pole position.
Lynk & Co Cyan Racing drivers Thed Björk and Santiago Urrutia have been elevated to positions two and three, with Nathanaël Berthon in fourth.
