Tom Coronel to complete TCR Europe season

Tom Coronel will return to TCR Europe for the final two meetings of the 2020 season, starting this weekend at Spa.

The Dutch racer competed in the season opener at Paul Ricard, where he failed to finish either race, but has then missed the following three meetings as a result of his commitments with Comtoyou Racing in WTCR.

With no clashes for the final two events, Coronel will now rejoin the TCR Europe field at the wheel of his Boutsen Ginion Racing-run Honda Civic Type R, with the Spa meeting being followed by the season finale at Jarama in Portugal next month.

Despite his tough start to the TCR Europe season, Coronel has enjoyed better luck in WTCR – despite a difficult weekend in Hungary last weekend – and sits sixth in the standings with two meeting remaining.
