Tobias Brink fastest by half a second in first Mantorp test

Tobias Brink topped the first test session of the STCC TCR Scandinavia weekend at Mantorp Park, lapping half a second faster than Oliver Söderström.

Lestrup Racing Team team-mate Rob Huff was third fastest, nine tenths of a second behind Brink, with Brink Motorsport driver Hannes Morin in fourth place.

Andreas Ahlberg was fifth fastest for Kågered Racing, lapping the 3016m circuit 0.935 seconds slower than Brink.

Local driver Mattias Andersson was sixth fastest, just four thousands of a second behind Ahlberg, and reigning champion Robert Dahlgren, who carries 60kg of compensation weight, was seventh fastest.

Emil Persson rounded off the top eight and was the first driver outside of one second from Brink’s time.

Brovallen Design driver Magnus Gustavsen went off at the Mjölby corner at the end of the session, causing radiator damage to his Audi RS 3 LMS.

The next test session starts at 13:40 CEST.
