Tobias Brink became a father and claimed two pole positions

Tobias Brink had a busy day today, becoming a father and claimed pole position for the first two STCC TCR Scandinavia races at Mantorp Park.

“The day started at two in the morning when our little Clara was born,” said Brink.

“It was really nice to claim pole as I’ve not had my head where it usually is today. Sometimes you just need to stop think and drive, that worked today. I completed one attempt in Q2 and I felt straight away that it was what I could get from the track today.”

The Brink Motorsport driver was no less than six tenths of a second ahead of his closest rival in the form of Lestrup Racing Team driver Oliver Söderström.

Brink has moved up into second place in the drivers’ championship thanks to his Q2 pole and is seven points from reigning champion Robert Dahlgren.
