20-car full-season entry list confirmed for 2020 WTCR season

A 20-car full-season entry list has been confirmed for the 2020 World Touring Car Cup that will start next weekend at Zolder.

The list include four entries from Hyundai, with reigning champion Norbert Michelisz spearheading the South Korean manufacturer’s campaign.

Lynk & Co Cyan Racing will field four cars as well, with Santiago Urrutia replacing Andy Priaulx in an otherwise unchanged line-up.

Honda are back with Münnich Motorsport running all four cars, headed by last year’s runner-up Esteban Guerrieri.

The all-new Cupra León Competición will be represented on the grid by Zengő Motorsport, running three cars for Mikel Azcona, Bence Boldizs and Gábor Kismarty-Lechner.

Comtoyou Racing will run three Audi RS 3 LMSs for WTCR veteran Tom Coronel, Nathanaël Berthon and Gilles Magnus.

Former Audi driver Jean-Karl Vernay will drive the sole Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR of Team Mulsanne.

The newest entry comes from Vuković Motorsport, fielding a single Renault Mégane RS TCR for British driver Jack Young.

A yet to be disclosed number of wild card entries are expected throughout the season.
