Andreas Ahlberg delighted over win after “just one test day”

Kågered Racing driver Andreas Ahlberg won the third race of the STCC TCR Scandinavia premiere at Gelleråsen Arena and is delighted as the team had limited preparations.

“The boys and the girls in the team are so strong. We’ve only had one test day for the entire pre-season,” said Ahlberg.

Ahlberg struggled in qualifying, missing Q2 and had to start tenth in the first two races where he finished seventh and eighth.

Eighth in the second race meant reversed grid pole position for the third race that he headed from lights to flag.

“We had a really bad car during qualifying, then we managed to turn things around for the race day and win the race. The team gave me an amazing car and I am forever grateful to them,” said Ahlberg.
