Eleven cars entered for 2020 TCR China season opener

Eleven cars have been entered for the 2020 TCR China championship season opener double header that takes place this weekend at the Zhuzhou International Circuit.

Four MG6 XPower TCR cars will be run by MG XPOWER Team with drivers Zhang Zhen Dong, Rodolfo Avila, He Xiaole and Chui Yue.

Lynk & Co will be represented by three cars run by Teamworks Motorsport under the Shell Teamwork Lynk & Co Motorsport banner for former WTCR driver Ma Quing Hua and Lu Wei, as well as a third car for three journalists under the Autohome Racing Team banner.

Xinjun 326 Racing Team will run two Audis for Huang Weifu and newcomer Wu Yifan, with Champ Motorsport also running an RS 3 LMS for former CTCC driver Yan Xi.

The sole Volkswagen entry comes from the FANCY纵横 Team with driver Yan Chuang.

Further teams and drivers were supposed to have taken part in the championship but are hindered by the current coronavirus travel restrictions.
