Daniele Cappellari returns to TCR Italy at Misano

Daniele Cappellari will be back in the TCR Italy championship for this weekend’s races at Misano.

“I chose to go back to TCR Italy because it’s a fun championship, where you can start at the back and have fun recovering,” said Cappellari.

“I want to stay in the tussle, do some overtaking… In Misano three years ago I made a record of overtaking and I finished at the podium despite my car being damaged, races like that are pure fun.”

The Venetian driver finished third overall in the 2019 Coppa Italia Turismo and last raced in TCR Italy during the 2018 season.

Cappellari is going to drive a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR for his own family team at Misano.
