Kasper H. Jensen tops maiden TCR Denmark test at Jyllandsringen
Kasper H. Jensen topped day one of the first-ever official TCR Denmark pre-season test at Jyllandsringen.
The Massive Motorsport driver lapped the Danish circuit in 1:09.068 during the afternoon session.
The Honda Civic Type-R TCR driver was five and seven tenths of a second respectively faster than LM Racing team-mates Nicolai Sylvest and former F1 driver Jan Magnussen.
Jensen’s team-mate Kenn Bach was fourth fastest and the final driver to set a lap time within one second of the top time.
Hyundai driver Martin Andersen, who confirmed his TCR Denmark programme just yesterday, was fifth fastest, just over one second from the top time.
Jacob Mathiassen got behind the wheel of Insight Racing’s Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR and recorded the sixth fastest time, 1.563 seconds from Jensen’s time.
Peugeot 308TCR driver Michael Markussen was seventh fastest ahead of Kim Lund who is driving an ex-PWR Racing Cupra TCR.
Volkswagen driver Allan Kristensen and Peugeot driver Michael Carlsen rounded off the top ten, 2.2 and 2.3 seconds from the top time respectively.
The TCR Denmark pre-season test continues tomorrow until 18:00 CEST.
