Comtoyou Racing add Nicolas Baert for 2020

Comtoyou Racing has announced the signing of Nicolas Baert for the 2020 TCR Europe season, which had been due to get underway this weekend at Spa.

The Audi team had previously confirmed that it would retain Gilles Magnus for the new campaign, and will now add former single-seater racer Nicolas Baert in a second Audi RS 3 LMS.

Whilst Magnus will run in a similar colourscheme to the one he ran last season thanks to his confirmed support from the RACB, Baert will run with a fan designed livery that was submitted as part of a competition run during the current lockdown period across much of Europe.

As well as the two cars run under the Comtoyou banner, two further Audis are set to appear on the grid in co-operation with the Brabant team, although no drivers have yet been confirmed for that programme.

The season is now due to get underway in late August or early September after the latest revisions to the calendar as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic were announced.
