Brink Motorsport unveil 2020 design and complete first test

Reigning STCC TCR Scandinavia team champions Brink Motorsport has unveiled its design for the 2020 season and has completed a first test.

“It’s great to be at it again. Although we were a limited team on site with just me as driver, we have been able to get all of our cars on track to make sure everything works well,” said team co-founder and driver Tobias Brink.

The team completed the test at Ljungbyhed with the three Audi RS 3 LMSs that the team have entered to the 2020 season for drivers Tobias Brink, Hannes Morin and Fredrik Blomstedt.

As for all other championships in the world, the team is waiting for the conditions to improve in order for the season to start.

“We are working closely with the STCC organisation to create the best possible conditions for the 2020 season,” said Brink.

“We have full respect for the situation and we support the decision of the STCC organisation to postpone the season start, there were no other alternatives in our view.

“The situation in the world is serious and far more important that racing. We are at the same time hopeful and are fully focussed to complete a full season. The original calendar enables races to be moved to the last part of the year and possibly start the season in July.”
