TCR Japan season opener postponed while pre-season test goes ahead

The TCR Japan series orgainsation has confirmed that the season opener at Fuji Speedway has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The race was scheduled for April 18-19th as the first of six race weekends of the 2020 season.

The season opener has been moved to Autopolis on May 15-17 and the organisation is currently investigating its option for a new date for the Fuji race weekend later in the season.

The pre-season test at Fuji on March 24th is however planned to go ahead, albeit closed to the general public and reduced to one day from the original plan of two.
