Privateer Toyota team Midas Carrera confirm Risatti and Aguirre

The Midas Carrera Team has confirmed it will run two Toyota Corollas in the 2020 Super TC 2000 championship for Ricardo Risatti and series newcomer Valentín Aguirre.

The newly formed team has purchased two brand new cars from Toyota Gazoo Racing Argentina and will receive support throughout the season from the factory outfit.

Risatti raced for Honda Racing last year, his first full season since 2013, with sixth place at the San Juan Villicum circuit as his best result.

Aguirre will make his Super TC 2000 debut this year, as well as his front-wheel drive debut.

The 23-year-old comes from a background of racing in the Argentinian Turismo Carretera series, claiming two victories last season.

The Super TC 2000 season start was scheduled for next weekend at the Zonda circuit in San Juan, but has been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.
