Tander, Ribartis and Shirasaka added to finalised 22-car TCR Asia Pacific Cup grid
The finalised entry list for the inaugural TCR Asia Pacific Cup race at Albert Park this weekend has been unveiled, featuring 22 drivers and cars.
The list include three previously unannounced drivers, with Melbourne Performance Centre entering two Audi RS 3 LMSs for drivers Garth Tander and Hamish Ribarits.
Both of them raced in the TCR Australia series last year, with Tander driving selected races for MPC, claiming one victory and five podium finishes.
Ribarits drove one race for MPC and one for Kelly Racing, claiming one podium finish at Phillip Island.
Wall Racing has announced that KCMG team owner Paul Ip will not take part in the race and is instead replaced by Takuya Shirasaka.
The 35-year-old Japanese driver raced in the 2019 Blancpain GT World Challenge America, finishing sixth overall in the AM category.
The TCR Asia Pacific Cup weekend starts tomorrow with two practice sessions and qualifying.
