Tobias Brink completes Brink Motorsport line-up

Tobias Brink has completed Brink Motorsport’s line-up for the 2020 STCC TCR Scandinavia season, joining team-mates Fredrik Blomstedt and Hannes Morin.

“I am not going to hide the fact that I would like to see myself on the top step when the chequered flag drops in the season finale and the conditions for it are definitely there this year,” said Brink.

“At the same time, I am the team co-owner and my main task is to secure that all three titles end up at Brink Motorsport. Should Fredrik (Blomstedt) or Hannes (Morin) end up in a better situation than me, I won’t hesitate to support them to a title.”

The 30-year-old finished second overall behind PWR Racing’s Robert Dahlgren last season, while the team was able to claim the team championship title.

“We have a very strong team this year and it’s going to be great racing with Fredrik and Hannes. We have our goal firmly set on three titles,” said Brink.

Morin is eligible to compete in the junior trophy this season, making it three titles up for grabs for the team.

The team recently confirmed it will continue running Audis for the 2020 season. The first official outing for the team will be the pre-season test at Knutstorp on April 24th.
