Covers come off Matt Stone Racing Superlites entry

The Matt Stone Racing entry of Zane Goddard and Jake Kostecki has been unveiled ahead of the rookie pairing’s debut Supercars season.

Expanding to two cars for 2020, driving duties in the #34 Holden Commodore will be divided through the year between Goddard and Kostecki, with the duo pairing up together for the endurance races later in the season.

MSR entered the Supercars Championship in 2018 after taking out the Super2 title with Todd Hazelwood, graduating to the main game with the young star before he departed to Brad Jones Racing for 2020.

With clothing brand UNIT stepping up as a major sponsor, Matt Stone says the brand’s values align well with the young team.

“UNIT is an exciting brand with masses of energy, we love the way they engage their market,” he said.

“They are exactly the partner we wanted to help showcase our youth development programme.

“UNIT have also proven themselves to be fabulous market disruptors, which is another quality we value highly at MSR.”

The team’s second car, to be driven by 2016 Super2 champ Garry Jacobson, will be uncovered before next week’s pre-season test at The Bend Motorsport Park.
