Six wild card drivers ups Macau grid to 32 cars
Six local wild card entries makes it 32 cars on the grid for the World Touring Car Cup races at Macau.
Jim Ka To, who races for KCMG at Suzuka this weekend, will be back for the Macau race behind the wheel of his Honda Civic Type-R FK8 TCR.
The remaining five Hong Kong based wild card entries are Billy Lo, James Tang, Kwai Wah Wong, Arthur Law and Terence Tse, all nominated by Macau’s ASN, the Automobile General Association Macao-China (AAMC).
Team TRC will field three Hondas for Tang, Law and Tse, with Tang and Law most recently competing in the 2019 Richburg Cup Races, while Tse has raced in the China Endurance Championship.
Wong will race a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR for Son Veng Racing Team, winning the 2019 Pan Delta Super Racing Festival Summer Race.
Tian Shi Zuver Team will enter an Audi RS 3 LMS for Lo who is racing in the 2019 GT Masters Asia series.
