Volkswagen drop 50kg ahead of Barcelona

The Volkswagen Golf GTI TCRs will run with 50kg less in compensation weight for the TCR Europe series races at Barcelona this weekend.

Also dropping weight compared to the previous round at Oschersleben are the Audi RS 3 LMSs and Peugeot 308TCRs, going from 30kg to 0kg. The Cupra TCRs will drop 20kg to a total of 10kg.

The only model to gain weight is the Honda Civic Type R FK8 TCR, adding 20kg for a total of 40kg at Barcelona.

The Hyundai i30 N TCR will remain at the maximum of 60kg and the Renault Megane RS TCR will remain at 0kg of compensation weight.
