Switch from Opel to Lada for Jan Seyffert at Zandvoort
Lubner Motorsport will switch from Opel to Lada for their driver Jan Seyffert in the TCR Germany series round at Zandvoort.
The 21-year-old has driven the first three races of the season in an Opel Astra TCR for the team, currently placed 16th overall with an eighth place in the season opener as his so far best result.
The team has stated that the purpose of the switch to the Russian brand is not for immediate race results but rather development of the car.
The team made their debut with the Lada last year, running it in the German endurance series VLN with drivers Jens Wulf and Lukas Thiele sharing the car with Lada Sport Germany chief Andrei Sidorenko.
