Aaron Cameron stripped of podium finish following post-race penalty

Aaron Cameron has been stripped of his third place-finish following a post-race penalty for overtaking Alex Rullo under yellow flag conditions in the first race of the TCR Australia series weekend at The Bend.

The Volkswagen driver was given a 28-second penalty, dropping him from third to 12th position.

The penalty means that Wall Racing driver John Martin has been promoted to third position.

Wall Racing team-mate Tony D’Alberto was also given a penalty after the race for his contact with Jimmy Vernon. The stewards handed him 10 seconds, dropping him from eighth to 13th.
