Brink Motorsport first to confirm TCR Scandinavia entry

Brink Motorsport is the first team to confirm their entry for the 2019 TCR Scandinavia series season, the series taking over following the bankruptcy of the STCC AB.

“We are heading into this on full force and will push hard for the 2019 championship,” said Ted Brink, team manager of Brink Motorsport.

The team had earlier confirmed two Audi RS 3 LMS race cars for the STCC prior to the bankruptcy but are yet to reveal the driver identities.

Team manager Ted Brink was present at the first planning meeting earlier this week between the Swedish Motorsport Federation, TCR Scandinavian Series AB and the circuit owners.

“We are confident for the future after the meeting. We have a great passion for motorsport and it feels great that we can fully focus on developing the championship with the potential that exists within top level Swedish racing and with the TCR regulations,” said Brink.

Other teams also present during the meeting include PWR Racing, Lestrup Racing and Brovallen Design.
