FCP Euro enter two Volkswagens for Nate Vincent and Michael Hurczyn

FCP Euro has re-entered their pair of Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR race cars with drivers Nate Vincent and Michael Hurczyn for the 2019 TC America championship.

The team ran the two drivers last years, with Hurczyn finishing fifth overall and Vincent seventh. They will drive the same Volkswagens this year although upgraded with sequential gearboxes.

“The TCR Cup for DSG cars was necessary because the gap to the cars with sequential gearboxes is just too vast, but we want to compete at the front and show that we can fight for overall wins,” said Hurczyn.

The American duo has their sights set on the top five for 2019, boosted by the upgrade of their cars to full TCR specification.

“We think we have the team and the talent to run up front, we simply didn’t have the car last year,” said Vincent.

The 2019 TC America championship starts on March 1-3rd at Circuit of the Americas.
