Eurasia Motorsport confirm Hyundai entry for 2019 TCR Asia Series

Eurasia Motorsport has confirmed 23-year-old Daniel Miranda in a Hyundai i30 N TCR for the 2019 TCR Asia Series.

“We have been looking at TCR for several years and with Daniel we could see a perfect opportunity to join with a young talented driver who should be competitive from the first event,” said team principal Mark Goddard.

“He is already a national touring car champion and his year in Formula Renault with us has given him the opportunity to hone his talent to the point where we are confident the he’ll be competitive in international touring cars.”

Miranda claimed the 2017 Philippine Toyota Vios title prior to his first season with Eurasia Motorsport in the Asian Formula Renault series.

The team has also confirmed a second Hyundai for a yet to be confirmed driver.
