Cyan Racing reveal first video of new Lynk & Co 03 TCR

Lynk & Co Cyan Racing has released the first video of the new Lynk & Co 03 TCR in action as preparations continue for the 2019 WTCR season.

The team has now completed tests in both Sweden and Portugal with the new car, which will be used by Cyan Racing as it returns to the world stage for the first time since taking the 2017 WTCC titles with Thed Björk and Volvo.

Björk is one of the three drivers currently announced for the programme alongside Yvan Muller and Andy Priaulx, and has been behind the wheel of the car during the early tests as the team works to develop the new machine ahead of its debut campaign.

“The first tests have been promising and the car has shown a lot of potential already in the early stages of development,” he said.

“There is no rest though as the 2019 WTCR season looks like it will be one of the toughest in many years and we have a hectic schedule leading up to the season start in Morocco.”

The Lynk & Co 03 TCR is built by Geely Group Motorsport, with Lynk & Co Cyan Racing having confirmed three cars in the WTCR next year and is expected to confirm a fourth shortly.
