Benjamin Lessennes the latest addition to Monza grid
Benjamin Lessennes has become the latest driver added to the entry list for the upcoming rounds of the TCR Europe Series season this weekend at Monza.
The reigning TCR Benelux champion will join the grid with the Autodis Racing by THX, driving the Honda Civic Type R that has been driven so far this season by Loris Cencetti.
Cencetti has managed one top ten finish so far this year, in the second race of the season opener at Paul Ricard.
Lessennes won the TCR Benelux title on the back of five wins whilst he also made his TCR International Series debut at Spa in a race won by new team-mate Stefano Comini.
The teenager then moved into the new World Touring Car Cup this season with the Boutsen Ginion Racing team having been given the chance to replace Tiago Monteiro whilst the former F1 racer continues to recover from the injuries he sustained in a testing accident in Barcelona last year.
Lessennes took a best finish of fourth in Germany but has now been replaced for the upcoming races by Ma Qing Hua.
