Mick Schumacher to drive DTM show car at the Nürburgring

Mick Schumacher, son of seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael, will drive a Mercedes-AMG race taxi at this weekend’s eight round of the DTM at the Nürburgring.

Gerhard Berger, chairman of series’ promoter ITR, invited the 19-year-old to do some demonstration laps in a race taxi this Friday, with Schumacher getting his first ever taste of a racing touring car.

Schumacher currently competes in the European Formula 3 championship, sitting in fourth positions in the standings with three victories this season.
