New BTCC liveries on show at Donington Park season launch
A host of new liveries for the 2018 British Touring Car Championship season have been unveiled this morning at the media day launch event at Donington Park.
At the top end of the pitlane, Ash Sutton unveiled the #1 Subaru Levorg he will use to will defend his title in 2018, with Andrew Jordan’s West Surrey Racing BMW 125i sporting a striking new matte yellow livery in the neighbouring garage.
The new 2018-spec Team Dynamics Honda Civic Type-R was also unveiled for the first time alongside Gordon Shedden’s replacement Dan Cammish and his team-mate Matt Neal.
Further down the pitlane, Power Maxed Racing also unveiled a new livery for its Vauxhall Astras, with new title sponsor TAG adorning the cars of Josh Cook and Senna Proctor.
Debutant Tom Oliphant showed off a striking chrome green Mercedes A-Class, with BTC Racing unveiling their ex-Team Dynamics Honda Civics and Team Hard running four new liveries on their Volkswagen CCs.
AmD Tuning unveiled a bold split blue and orange livery on their newly-acquired MG 6 GTs, which will be driven by Tom Boardman and Rory Butcher.
The new liveries will be seen on circuit for the first time in this afternoon’s four-hour test session, which gets underway at 13:00 BST.
