Nissan reveals Enduro Cup line-up

Nissan Motorsport has announced that Super2 Championship trio Alex Rullo, Garry Jacobson, and Dean Fiore will form part of the line-up for the three races in the 2018 Pirtek Enduro Cup.

The three drivers – who all compete for the MW Motorsport team in the second tier series – will be joined by Aaren Russell for the races at Sandown, Bathurst and Surfers Paradise.

Youngster Rullo will team up with Simona de Silvestro in the #78 Team Harvey Norman entry, with Jacobsen being teamed with Rick Kelly in the #15 Castrol Racing Altima.

Having taken sixth place at Bathurst last year, Fiore will once again partner Michael Caruso in the #23 entry, with Russell and Andre Heimgartner being placed together in the #7 car.

The pair previously raced together back in 2016 with the Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport team.

The announcement of Nissan’s Enduro Cup line-up confirms that there will be no return to the track this season for Todd Kelly.

The 38-year-old retired from full-time competition at the end of the 2017 campaign, although speculation had suggested he could appear on the track for the two-driver endurance events.
