Peugeot to feature on TCR Germany grid
The new Peugeot 308TCR will be an addition to the ADAC TCR Germany grid this season after the Niedertscheider Motorsport team announced plans to run the French car in 2018.
The Austrian squad fielded a SEAT León last season for Lukas Niedertscheider, who finished the season 24th in the standings with a best finish of eighth at Oschersleben.
The 23-year-old will now seek to make forward progress up the order at the wheel of his new car, which is set to be the first Peugeot 308TCR to compete in the series.
“I’m really looking forward to the upcoming season and my new car,” Niedertscheider said, and after getting to know the racetracks and the environment of the ADAC TCR Germany very well last year, I’m confident that I can turn those experiences into good results in the 2018 season .
“My expectations for the new Peugeot 308TCR are naturally high.”
