Bas Koeten Racing the first team to take delivery of the Cupra TCR

Dutch team Bas Koeten Racing have become the first team to take delivery of the new-for-2018 Cupra TCR, the rebranded SEAT León TCR, now badged with SEAT’s new performance division name.

The team have raced the León TCR over the last few years in various endurance championships in addition to outings in the TCR International Series and TCR Germany and Benelux Touring Car Championships.

Team principal Bas Koeten collected the first Cupra TCR car from SEAT Sport’s headquarters in Spain. The Cupra TCR and its predecessor, the León TCR, is the TCR car which has sold the most in terms of volume across the world, with over 200 cars racing in the various national, regional and international series.
