New Honda Civic TCR hit with 40kg and reduced boost as Balance of Performance

The new Honda Civic Type-R FK8 TCR has been given 40kg of Balance of Performance weight and reduced turbo boost by the TCR Technical Department.

The weight of the car will be 1,325kg, 20kg heavier compared to the previous Civic TCR model. Furthermore, the maximum turbo boost of the engine will be reduced to 95%, or 2,480 millibar.

The BoP will be applied immediately, starting from the car’s endurance debut this weekend in the 24HSERIES race in Dubai.
