Yann Ehrlacher selected as one of six drivers for Audi in the Young Driver Test
WTCC driver Yann Ehrlacher is one of six drivers chosen by Audi Sport to take part in their annual Young Driver Test, which takes place at the Lausitzring from the 24th-26th of October.
The Frenchman, the nephew of the WTCC’s most successful driver Yvan Muller, made his debut in the WTCC this season at the wheel of a Lada Vesta, scoring his maiden victory in the opening race at Termas de Río Hondo back in July.
Ehrlacher will be joined by Audi junior and GP2 driver Nyck de Vries, South-African ADAC Formula 4 driver Jonathan Aberdein, Austrian Formula 3 driver Ferdinand Habsburg and Spanish single seater Alex Palou, runner up at this season’s Japanese Formula 3.
The sixth driver at the test will be Belgian Dries Vanthoor, brother of former Audi GT driver Laurens, who also raced an Audi R8 LMS in the Blancpain Series for the last two seasons.
