Chinese squad ZZZ Team enter two Audi RS 3s for Zhejiang

ZZZ Team will run a pair of Audi RS 3 LMSs at the upcoming round of the TCR International Series at the Zhejiang circuit, with CTCC front-runners Jiang Tengyi and Zheng Zhen Dong behind the wheel.

Jiang and Zheng both race for the SAIC Volkswagen 333 Racing team in the China Touring Car Championship, with Jiang the 2014 champion, while Zheng is the reigning champion.

“We are very excited to join the TCR international Series and race at Zhejiang Circuit,” said team mangaer Dennis Zhang. “It is our very maiden appearance and we have some very competitive racers from China. I believe that the TCR international Series is the ideal platform to show what we can do.”

The entry means there will be four Audis on the TCR International Series grid for only the second time, with ZZZ running in addition to Comtoyou Racing, with their Audi RS 3s for Stefano Comini and Frédéric Vervisch.
