Norbert Nagy leads all-SEAT top three in Zolder qualifying
Norbert Nagy has claimed pole position for the first race tomorrow at Zolder, leading Macedonian driver Igor Stefanovski in the 30-minute qualifying session, while championship leader Petr Fulín missed qualifying with a technical issue.
Nagy led the way by three-tenths of a second ahead of Stefanovski’s SEAT, with LEIN Racing’s Fabio Mota just over a second behind in third.
Fulín’s closest championship rival Christjohannes Schreiber qualified his Honda Civic in fourth, 1.1 seconds behind, with Plamen Kralev fifth in his Kraf Racing Audi RS 3 LMS.
Schreiber’s team-mate Peter Rikli was sixth, while Petr Fulín will have his work cut out on race day, starting from tenth in his Krenek Motorsport SEAT León TCR, after missing the session due to a technical issue.
Race 1 takes place at 13:00 CET on Sunday.
